Designing and developing a website that supports credibility and growth

Discovery Studio needed a professional online presence ahead of their official company launch at a tradeshow. We built their website from the ground up, set up their Linkedln company page, and extended the collaboration into an ongoing content and SEO partnership.

THE CHALENGE

A new company that needed a credible presence before it launched

As a new business unit within the Anacura Group, Discovery Studio had no existing online presence. To establish themselves in the life sciences space, they needed a well-structured, professional website that would reflect their scientific credibility and support their commercial growth.

The timing added pressure: the website had to be ready for an upcoming tradeshow where Discovery Studio planned to officially introduce the company. A professional online presence was essential. Not just to validate their credibility at the event, but to give a strong first impression to the partners and clients who would look them up during and after the show.

In parallel, they needed a Linkedln company page that was aligned with the website and active at launch, so the momentum built at the tradeshow could continue and new connections could stay in the loop.

No existing online presence

Discovery Studio was launching as a new company. Everything needed to be built from zero, with no existing brand assets or digital infrastructure to work from.

Fixed launch deadline

The website had to be live before a specific tradeshow date. Timeline was non-negotiable.

Scientific and commercial audiences

The site needed to communicate clearly to research professionals and to commercial decision-makers simultaneously, without losing either audience.

Consistency across channels

Website and Linkedln needed to present a unified identity from day one, so every first impression across channels was coherent.

OUR APPROACH

From first brief to live website in five steps

We handled the full digital foundation - design, development, tracking, and Linkedln - in a single coordinated programme with a defined launch date.

01

Defining the visual direction

We began by establishing the look and feel of the website. Discovery Studio needed a presence that felt credible, clean, and professional within the life sciences space. We presented several colour palette proposals, each tailored to the tone of a scientific services company, and worked closely with their team to align on a visual style that matched their identity.

02

Website design

With the visual direction approved, we moved into design. We created layouts for all required pages - company information, services, content, and contact - ensuring the structure was intuitive for visitors and straightforward to maintain internally. Feedback was gathered in structured rounds to refine the design with precision.

03

Website development

Once the designs were finalised, we built a fully functional, responsive website on their domain. The site was optimised for performance, structured for SEO readiness, and built on a content management system that allows the Discovery Studio team to update content and expand the site as the company grows.

04

Tracking and performance monitoring

We implemented a comprehensive tracking setup to measure user behaviour and key actions on the site. This ensures Discovery Studio has clear data on how visitors interact with their content, which informs ongoing improvements and commercial decisions.

05

LinkedIn setup and channel consistency

We created and configured their Linkedln company page, aligned with the new website in visual style and messaging. We published the first posts before the tradeshow to increase discoverability and give attendees a professional channel to follow. This extended the commercial momentum from the event into an ongoing content presence.

Website live before the tradeshow

The full site - structure, design, development, and tracking - was completed and launched on schedule ahead of the Discovery Studio company introduction event.

LinkedIn active at launch

A professional company page, aligned with the website, was live and publishing before the event. Attendees could follow the page and stay connected after the tradeshow.

Ongoing content and SEO partnership

The collaboration extended into ongoing blog content, SEO improvements, and a structured content calendar. Discovery Studio's organic visibility has grown consistently since launch.

Discovery Studio Logo
Discovery Studio approached us with the need for a professional and credible online presence. We started with the design and development of their website, built from the ground up with a custom structure, tailored color palette, and responsive layout. From the first collaboration, it was clear there was a strong match between their needs and our way of working. We also implemented tracking tools to measure website behaviour and support ongoing optimisation. Once the website was live, we extended the collaboration by setting up their LinkedIn company page. Ensuring a consistent and visible presence.
